A Complete Solution for a Digital Audit.

Beginning with January 1, 2002, tax auditors of fiscal authorities have access to digitally stored records with fiscal relevant data and can request for a copy of prepared statements in digital format. The technical solution recommended by the Federal Ministry of Finance in Germany (Bundesministerium der Finanzen) is the introduction of a consolidating, auditable archive. However, only about 5 to 10 percent of the enterprises are really prepared for a digital audit. Considering that the requirement to store enterprise data in digital format has now in effect for 5 years, it is high time for the affected companies to react accordingly.
