The efficient flow of business documentation without barriers is a key factor for the success of an organization.  No matter the type of document - from engineering drawings to invoices, contracts, credit applications, and filed claims  - business documents must be effectively delivered to the right person at the right point of time. An on-demand DMS based on OXSEED supports managing the complete lifecycle of documents and business content. OXSEED classifies all objects and manages changes to attributes when objects pass through different states and phases, such as review, approval, publishing, archival and withdrawal. Integration also supports creating documents through the use of authoring tools, for example, office applications, CAD products or multimedia solutions, and integration is also possible for document import through scanning or forms processing systems. Totally independent from time and location, OXSEED serves as a uniform repository for all types of information. In this function, OXSEED provides the functions which are commonly expected of, such as check in/check out, versioning, or even virtual folders.
