Datenschutz: Der brand`s mill Service arbeitet auf der `Google App Engine` in der Obhut von Googles Datacentern. Google hat das `Safe Habour Abkommen` unterzeichnet und bietet somit einen Rahmen für den aus europäischer Sicht nötigen Datenschutz.
Datensicherheit: Für die Sicherheit Ihrer Daten ist der `High Replication Datastore` (HRD) der Googles App Engine im Einsatz.
HRD ist ein hoch verfügbares und außerordentlich sicheres Speichersystem. Es sorgt neben der Verfügbarkeit wärend geplanter Infrastrukturpflege auch für Serviceverfügbarkeit wärend ungeplanter Ereignisse selbst im Katastrophenfall an einem Standort. Erreicht wird dies durch `true multihoming`, Datenreplikation über Rechenzentren mit einem System basierend auf dem Paxos Algorithmus.
Dies sorgt für einen sehr hohen Grad an Datenverfügbarkeit.
